Solei Washington scored four goals to lead No. 2 ranked Chamblee to a 10-0 Class 5A Sweet 16 playoff victory over the Ware County Lady Gators on Tuesday at North DeKalb Stadium.

Chamblee would outshoot Ware County 37-0 in the game as the Lady Bulldogs kept the ball in the offensive side of the field most of the night.

Kyla Osborne and Ansley Harrison scored within 30 seconds of each other to open the scoring to give Chamblee a 2-0 lead just eight minutes into the game.

Kara Croone who assisted on Harrison’s goal and Washington scored back-to-back goals in less than two minutes to extend the Lady Bulldogs lead to 4-0 with 26:12 left in the first half.

The pair teamed up at the 23:18 mark as Croone got the ball to Washington to make it 5-0. Kourtney Osborne nailed a shot just past the left goalpost from about 12 yards out and Paige Parker converted a nice pass from Tani Blankenship for another goal to send Chamblee into the half up 7-0.

Washington scored two goals and Harrison her second of the game to end the game by the mercy rule at 10-0 just over six minutes into the shortened second half.

Chamblee (18-1-1) moves into the Elite 8 and host No. 3 McIntosh (15-1-2), 6-1 winners over Loganville, on Monday at North DeKalb Stadium. The game time is yet to be determined.
