A battle of undefeated teams featuring Cedar Grove and Stephenson was dominated by Cedar Grove in a 20-8 victory in DCSD Middle School football action at Godfrey Stadium last Saturday.

The Jaguar (1-1) defense did not have an answer for Cedar Grove’s Jamarcus Harper who scored three touchdowns. Harper scored on a three and seven yard runs to go with a 73-yard kickoff return. The Saints’ defense got sacks from Andreco Griggs and Myles Smith and a tackle for a loss by Kareem Cobb as the unit held Stephenson to just one score.

Chapel Hill 14, Druid Hills 0
Avondale Stadium played host to a hard-fought defensive game between the Chapel Hill Panthers (2-0) and Druid Hills Dragons (0-2) won 14-0 by the Panthers.
