Please follow the safety guidelines listed in this story as you plan to attend athletic events in DeKalb County.

The DeKalb County School District is excited to provide parents, family, student body, and community members the opportunity to attend games. We are confident that we can host these events safely in our everchanging environment.

Effective for fall sports 2021 the Department of Athletics has adopted the following guidelines:
Stadium Spectators and Outdoor Sports (Football, Cross Country, Softball)
• All tickets will be sold via GOFAN. General Admission cost will be $7.00 per adult and $5.00 per student ticket plus administrative fees through GOFAN.
• There will be no spectator limit for outdoor events.
• Unvaccinated guests are asked to wear a mask. Masks are optional for fully vaccinated guest.
• All spectators are asked to maintain six feet of social distancing. Parent/guardian/family members will be encouraged to sit only with their family units.
• Spectators are prohibited from entering the field and will be asked to leave venue immediately following event.
• Spectators must remain in a reasonable distance outside of the fence or field area of competition.
• We will allow DCSD passes and GHSA passes.

In-Door Sports Spectators (Volleyball)

• There will be no spectator limit for volleyball at this time due to generally low attendance rates. (Decisions surrounding indoor capacity restrictions will be made closer to the basketball season)
• All guests must wear a mask at ALL TIMES, including when entering/exiting venue, during the competition, and whenever walking or moving about . No exceptions.
• All spectators are asked to maintain six feet of social distancing. Parent/guardian/family members will be encouraged to sit only with their family units.
• Spectators are prohibited from entering the court and will be asked to leave venue immediately following event.
• We will allow DCSD passes and GHSA passes.

Please know that the health and safety of students, athletes, coaches, and staff continues to be the top priority for the DeKalb County School District. We will continue to monitor all recommendations published by the CDC and DBOH and adjust accordingly.

If any changes are made fans, parents, students and coaches will be notified as soon as possible.
