Jamarcus Hatcher scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the No. 3 ranked Columbia Eagles to an 86-25 win over the McNair Mustangs to complete a Region 5-2A sweep at Senior/Alumni Night at Columbia on Friday.

Hatcher teamed up with Trevian Callaway for 15 points, eight for Hatcher and seven for Callaway, as the Eagles (19-2, 10-1) ran out to a 28-7 lead.

The second quarter featured 10 points, including three put backs on rebounds, by Hatcher and Chance Reynolds sent the Eagles into the halftime break up 45-13.

Quay Wallace scored nine points in the opening half of the third quarter as the Eagles extended the lead to 58-15. Xavier Morton’s strong rebound and put back at the buzzer closed out the period with the Eagles up 67-24. Kamar Goodson scored 11 points, including back-to-back three-pointers, to lead the Mustangs (1-19, 0-10).

JaShawn Thompson had six points and four rebounds in the fourth period to lead the Eagles down to the finish. Columbia held McNair to just one point in the final quarter, a free throw by Jahrian Ervin with 4:28 to play.

Quay Wallace joined Hatcher in double figures for the Eagles with 12 points (4 rebounds) while JaShawn Thompson contributed nine points and seven rebounds, Trevian Callaway put up nine points and Jace Smith added seven points all in the second half.

Kamar Goodson’s 11-point outburst in the third quarter led the way for McNair.

Nia Anderson fueled a 15-0 run by the Columbia Lady Eagles with seven points to open the game in a runaway 75-15 over the McNair Lady Mustangs in the opening game of the night at Columbia.

Anderson sandwiched an offensive put back by Keamaura Robinson with a steal for a layup and a three-pointer on an assist by Aalon Turner for an early 7-0 Columbia lead. She added a pair of free throws with 2:16 left in the opening period to make it 15-0 before Nakiah Mosley hit two free throws for McNair to break the run.

Kerserlin Anderson hit a three-pointer following pass from Taylor Moss just before the buzzer to end the quarter to send the Eagles (15-5, 10-1) into the second period up 23-3.

Kendall Campbell hit for eight points in the second quarter to lead a group of five Lady Eagles to put their mark on the scorebook. Columbia put up 25 points in the period to head to the break up 48-6.

Nia Anderson hit a three to start the second half and added a layup on a steal by Robinson as Columbia upped its margin to 61-8 while holding the Mustangs to just layup by Karol Ridges with 2:05 remaining in the third quarter.

Columbia continued to build its advantage to open the final quarter of the game on a pair of free throws by Kerserlin Anderson and a three-pointer by Taylor Moss.

McNair had a spurt towards the end of the game as Siyenna Daily and Kei’Asia Clayton both hit a pair of free throws down the stretch.

Nia Anderson finished the night with 21 points and was joined in double figures by Aalon Taylor with 15 points (6 rebounds), Kerserlin Anderson with 13 points (5 rebounds), Kendall Campbell with 11 points (5 rebounds) and Keamaura Robinson with 10 points (7 rebounds).

Nakiah Mosley had five points and five rebounds to lead McNair and Siyenna Daily had four points and four rebounds.
