STONE MOUNTAIN, GA. – DeKalb County has lifted the water boil advisory countywide for all areas except within the City of Dunwoody. Therefore, the district will be on a regular operating schedule for all schools, including those in Dunwoody, on Monday, September 16, 2019.
A School Nutrition contingency plan is in effect for the following schools within Dunwoody: Austin ES, Chestnut ES, Dunwoody ES, Dunwoody HS, Kingsley ES, Peachtree MS, and Vanderlyn ES. These schools have received bottled water for students and staff. While staff and students within Dunwoody may not drink the water, the water is safe for washing hands.
