The mission of the Division of Communications and Community Relations is to proactively and accurately convey information, achievements, and outcomes that support student achievement in the DeKalb County School District (DCSD).

The Communications team is responsible for maintaining accurate, effective, two-way communication for the district with internal and external stakeholders. We do this through Broadcast Services, Communications & Marketing, Community Relations and Media Relations.

DeKalb Schools TV (DSTV) is an educational access channel operated by the DeKalb County School District (DCSD). The channel is available to Comcast subscribers in DeKalb County on channel 24. DSTV Digital is also available online and can be viewed on any computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet access. You can watch DSTV on YouTube or Video On-Demand, which can be found on the DSTV website.

We pride ourselves in being the best in edutainment. Our goal is to educate, empower, and entertain our viewers.

We develop and execute strategies to enhance the brand and reputation of DCSD through proactive and reactive messaging, marketing campaigns, and creative services.
