The Division of Curriculum and Instruction invites you to celebrate Math Week (formally known as Pi Week) during the week of March 13 – 17, 2023. In anticipation of the implementation of new mathematics standards, we invite our families to join us in the celebration by being intentional about engaging their scholars with opportunities to explore mathematics in the world around them. Examples of at-home activities include budgeting, cooking with fractions, building a birdhouse, or determining which item is a better buy in the grocery store. The opportunities for engaging in mathematical experiences are endless!
