As DeKalb County School District (DCSD) plans for the 2021-2022 school year, the needs of our students and teachers are being considered. It is important that DCSD focuses on student outcomes and plans for five days of full-time, in person learning for all students next year. The District is also expanding FLEX Academy to offer virtual remote learning as an option for middle and high school students. Middle and high school students will be eligible to enroll in online core and elective classes that meet the program’s motto: flexible learning with excellence. The virtual option will be an extension of FLEX academy but connected to each home school.
In an effort to gather thoughts and ideas from our DCSD community regarding the 2021-2022 school year, regional/community town halls will be held April 27-29, 2021. The schedule is as follows:
