The DeKalb County School District has been selected as one of the “2021 Best Communities in America for Music Education” by the National Association of Music Merchants Foundation (NAMM). This honor was made possible through the outstanding support and work of our teachers, administrators, parents, students, and DeKalb community leaders.
The award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education. A national survey was conducted by NAMM in the selection of each school district. Congratulations are extended to our music educators and students for their dedication to excellence. If you have any questions, please contact DeKalb Schools Music Coordinator, Mr. Don Roberts.
