Extended School Year (ESY) Program (Blended)
Extended School Year (ESY) Program (Blended): June – July, 2021
Extended school year (ESY) refers to special education and/or related services provided beyond the normal school year of a public agency for the purpose of providing a free, appropriate public education (FAPE) to a student with a disability in accordance with the child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) at no cost to the family. For the Tutorial ESY Program, tutors will contact parents to schedule tutorial sessions for a mutually agreed upon time. Eligibility for ESY services is determined by the IEP teams. Questions regarding your ESY services should be directed to your child’s case manager.
