DeKalb Virtual Career Academy (DVCA)

Grades 9-12
Description: DVCA is a cooperative program with DeKalb County Government, DeKalb County Schools, Georgia Piedmont Technical College, and WorkSource DeKalb. The program will provide virtual curriculum for 9th-10th grade students that offers academic enrichment courses and career exploration in various CTAE pathways. Courses are offered in a structured virtual learning environment with teachers that provide synchronous and asynchronous instructional support. Additionally, 11th and 12th grade students will be placed in various jobsites that will provide career awareness and employability skills development.
