Local School Fair (Optional)

Schools/regions/clusters are strongly encouraged to host a local fair to streamline the number of entries to the district fair.

Projects for each category must be unique and cannot be entered in more than one category. Projects may consist of an individual student or a team of two students. Projects must be created and designed by students.

Students may compete in any of the 14 categories and grade groupings (3rd – 4th), (5th – 6th), (7th – 8th), (9th – 10th), and (11th – 12th) according to their assigned grade.

In the local fair, schools will determine their top projects for each category and grade grouping.
