DCSD magnet programs eligibility is determined by the scores achieved from the current school year’s baseline test session. Note: The “baseline test” is the first MAP assessment the student takes each school year.
Under no circumstances will students be allowed to re-take the test.

Students will take one Reading test and one Math test during the testing session. Students will have approximately 180 minutes (combined) to complete both tests; additional time will not be given.
Make-up sessions are not available.

Note: DCSD is unable to provide a MAP test score report for a home schooled or private school student since the student is not enrolled in a DCSD school. However, test scores will be shared with applicants via email. Test scores will be manually verified when a school choice application is submitted.

If you have questions regarding the MAP assessment, contact the Research, Assessments and Grants Department or call 678-676-0509.
