McNair Discovery Learning Academy is an elementary instructional program that collaborates with all stakeholders to create a culture of academic achievement to embrace learning in a safe and productive learning environment.  The program mandates that teachers implement a variety of innovative and engaging strategies to narrow the achievement gap and increase academic rigor.  Student achievement is heightened through community connections, participation in fine arts and the utilization of performance-based learning.  The active, hands-on approach to learning will be utilized to allow students to better analyze and master the standards.
