Wadsworth student earns first-place I state STEM competition.

Temple Lester, a fifth-grade student at Wadsworth Magnet School for High Achievers, was selected as the first-place winner for the Georgia Science Teachers Association STEM Talk competition.

The Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Talk contest was designed to give K-12 students the forum to share how STEM is impacting their lives. The 2017 STEM Talk winners will have the opportunity to share their talks with the educators at the Georgia STEM Forum on Oct. 24 in Athens, Ga.
