Title I and Title IV-A will apply for the Ed-Flex Waiver for the FY23 school year to carry over unspent funds from FY22. This waiver will allow the school district to expend funds in areas to meet the needs of the district and the requested needs of identified private schools.

Areas for Title I include ?carryover allocations for public and private schools to build teacher capacity and increase student outcomes utilizing the following areas: staffing, supplies, equipment, software, technology, parent and family engagement and professional learning.

Areas for Title IV include carryover allocations in the areas of (WR-Well-Rounded, SH-Safe and Healthy, and ET-Effective use of Technology). One or more of the focus areas’ expenditure minimum requirements may exceed what should be spent based on the identified needs. The waiver will allow both Title I and Title IV-A to continue with this spending pattern without district penalty.
