The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) is proud to recognize 12 grade-level winners of the district’s writing contest. These 12 students recently competed in the Young Georgia Authors (YGA) writing contest, a statewide writing contest for kindergarten through 12th-grade students. The competition is sponsored by the Georgia Language Arts Supervisors (GLAS).
Cedar Grove High School senior Precious Nketsia received “Honorable Mention” recognition at the state competition for her poem, “Who Am I?” The DCSD writing contest winners are below:
