DeKalb County School District Celebrates Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) in the month of February

During this month, Career, Technical, and Agriculture Education (CTAE) programs will share the amazing teaching and learning that is happening across our school district daily and how #CTAEDelivers.

CTAE integrates core academic knowledge with technical and occupational skills to prepare students for post-secondary education and the workforce. The state of Georgia has identified 17 Career Clusters that are structured to prepare students for Georgia’s workforce. These opportunities include but are not limited to advanced curriculum, dual enrollment, work-based learning, career awareness, career development, and employability skills. CTAE core values are Career Connections, Today’s Technology, Authentic Assessment, and Evolving Education.

We recognize and honor all of our DeKalb County School District CTAE coordinators, teachers, counselors, students, and military personnel who assist our scholars in achieving their goals of moving onward and upward.

This month we encourage our scholars districtwide and our community to highlight your school’s CTAE program by tagging @dekalbschools, @dcsdctae, and @dcsdstem in all social media posts and by using the hashtag #CTAEDelivers.
