Local School Competition

Technology Fair

  • Schools/regions/clusters are strongly encouraged to host a local competition to streamline the number of entries to the district competition.

  • Projects for each category must be unique and cannot be entered in more than one category. Projects may consist of an individual student or a team of two students. Projects must be created and designed by students.

  • Students may compete in any of the 14 categories and grade groupings (3rd – 4th), (5th – 6th), (7th – 8th), (9th – 10th), and (11th – 12th) according to their assigned grade.

  • In the local competition, schools will determine their top projects for each category and grade grouping.
