At the 2026 State of the District, held at Cedar Grove High School on March 25, Foundation Chair Munir Meghjani shared an update on the Foundation's grantmaking programs. Sponsorships and donations for the State of the District support the Foundation's grantmaking programs to support schools, educators, and students across the District. 

Foundation grants focus on innovative projects to address focus areas aligned with needs in our schools: 

  • strengthening literacy
  • supporting student mental health and physical wellness
  • expanding professional development and training opportunities for DCSD educators
