Cedar Grove Middle Schooler Chase Cooper Named Honoree in the Junior Achievement of Georgia

Cedar Grove Middle School 8th-grade student Chase Cooper was named a 2024 honoree in the Junior Achievement of Georgia’s 19 Under 19 program. This prestigious recognition celebrates 19 students across the state who are under 19 and already making a meaningful impact in their schools, communities, and future careers.

Throughout his time at Cedar Grove, school officials said Chase has consistently demonstrated leadership, initiative, and a passion for service and learning. As a 6th grader, he served as a student leader during the JA BizTown simulation, where he helped guide his peers through real-world business and civic experiences. His performance was so impressive that JA representatives invited him to return for their Summer Leadership Program, where he continued to grow as a young changemaker and role model.

In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Chase was selected as the 2024 scholarship recipient, earning a $500 award to support his academic and career goals. His journey reflects Junior Achievement's mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.

The 19 Under 19 initiative by Junior Achievement of Georgia honors students who exemplify the values of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and career readiness. These honorees are selected from over 100,000 students participating in JA programs across the state.
