Daily Difference Makers

The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) Daily Difference Makers program celebrates our 92,000 students and 14,000 staff members who make a difference in our schools and support divisions. Whether it's sparking curiosity, offering kindness, or leading by example, these everyday actions create a lasting impression and embody DCSD moving Forward Together!

Students are selected by their school principals to participate in Portrait of a Graduate Academic Walks or the Superintendent’s Student Advisory. Employees are nominated by their principals or peers and selected monthly by the Division of Human Resources.

New honorees are featured weekly to highlight the people who embody #TheDeKalbDifference. Help us celebrate our Difference Makers by following or liking DCSD social media accounts listed below and sharing the posts daily with those who stand with DCSD. Weekly, we will selected one new follower or like to receive a Difference Maker swag bag. Winners will be posted every Monday.
