Program Evaluation Request
The department of Research, Data, & Evaluation is pleased to offer program evaluation services for district-level employees. Principals requesting a program evaluation should contact their regional superintendent. Our program evaluations are designed to offer district-level employees insights into the design, implementation, effectiveness, and efficiency of programs and/or policies. The type of program evaluation service(s) requested would depend on the requestor’s key question(s) for investigation. Some common program evaluation types are described below:Process Evaluation: – Examining the implementation and operation of program components
- Key Question: Was the program administered as planned?
Impact Evaluation: – Investigating the magnitude of both positive and negative impacts of the
program
- Key Question: Did participants’ knowledge change as a result of the program?
Outcome Evaluation: – Assessing the short- and long-term results of a program
- Key Question: What are the long-term positive effects of program participation?
Your program evaluation request should identify the type(s) of evaluation service(s) requested and the key question(s) to be answered. Please note: Program Evaluations typically can take several months to complete due to the systematic process of assessing a program’s design, activities, or outcomes.
