MAP Testing
The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) uses the Northwest Evaluation Association’s (NWEA) Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) as the assessment to determine eligibility of students currently in grades 3 – 9 to enter the random lottery for the School Choice High Achievers Magnet program.
Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) is a test administered online. DeKalb resident students who score 75% or higher on the Reading RT (Reading Total) and Math MT (Math Total) on the MAP assessment in addition to a 3.0 or higher GPA as of the previous semester will be eligible to enter the lottery.
