BEEP BEEP: DCSD’s Buses Are Going Green!

We invite you to join us on an exciting journey towards sustainability and community engagement as we introduce electric school buses for DeKalb County students.
On May 1, 2022, the DeKalb County School District (DCSD) was awarded $20,139,250 from the Clean School Bus Grant to acquire and implement 50 electric buses and 50 bi-directional chargers, focusing on supporting underserved students in non-attainment zones. The project officially commenced on April 1, 2024, and is set to conclude by April 1, 2026.
