Eighteen DeKalb County elementary schools take the stage on Saturday at 2:00 pm in the inaugural DeKalb County Schools Elementary Competitive Dance Championships at Tucker High School.

Teams advanced to the championships after recently competing for Area titles across the DeKalb County School District.

The competing schools include top six from the three Areas including Ashford Park, Woodward, Dunwoody, Austin, Oak Grove, John Lewis from Area 1: Avondale, Smoke Rise, Rock Chapel, Shadow Rock, Stone Mountain, Allgood from Area 2; and Kelley Lake, Barack H. Obama, Oakview, Narvie Harris, McNair, Peachcrest from Area 3.

The awards ceremony is set for 4:15 pm with the top three teams from each Area receiving their awards as well as the teams who capture county recognition.

Teams begin competition at 2:00 pm at Tucker in the following order:
