The Tucker Lady Tigers scored twice in the final 18 seconds of the first half to rally for a 20-13 Division 2 Area 5 victory over the Clarkston Angoras to complete a two-game sweep in third of three games at Hallford Stadium on Wednesday night.

Trailing 13-0 with just 29 seconds to play in the first half Tucker put together an amazing end to the first half. Tucker (5-3, 5-1) answered on its first play with an Amala Lindquist to Shameria Jackson pass covered 56 yards for a touchdown. Nijah Lewis ran in the extra point to make it 7-13 with 18 seconds to play.

Clarkston went to the air on the first play and Lindquist stepped into intercept, returning it to the Clarkston 9. Two plays later Lindquist hit Trinity Head in the end zone for an 11-yard scoring strike with five seconds left in the half. Maliyah Greene’s extra point run put Tucker up 14-13 going into the half.
