The Lakeside Lady Vikings got out to a quick start on the road at Richmond Hill before dropping their Class 6A State Playoffs Sweet 16 match 3-1 to the home team.

Lakeside (10-3) came out of the gate swinging on the way to a 25-16 victory in the opening game of the match.

Richmond Hill bounced back to take the second game 25-17 on the way to three consecutive wins to clinch the match and advance to the Elite Eight. Richmond Hill won the third game 25-19 and the deciding game 25-17 to take the best-of-five match.
