Former Southwest DeKalb state championship wrestler and football start and current Indianapolis Colts Cornerback Rock YA-Sin will be speaking at SWD High School tomorrow (Wednesday) at 10:30am in the auditorium.

The two-time state wrestling champion was drafted out of Temple in the second round (34th overall) of the NFL Draft by the Colts.

The rookie has 14 total tackles in five games with the Colts including a season high six as the Colts defense held the high-powered Kansas City Chiefs’ offense to just 13 points in a 19-13 Colts victory at Kansas City on Sunday.

Ya-Sin has three starts under his belt as well in his first season.

He had 42 tackles, two for a loss, and seven interceptions as a senior at Southwest DeKalb.
