The Division of Access and Opportunity is made up of 5 departments:
Access and Opportunity, Athletics, School Innovation, Student Assignment,
Student Mentorship and Partnerships.
The goal of the Division of Access and Opportunity is to increase access, provide opportunity, facilitate inclusion, and support historically marginalized communities and their families. We understand that unique challenges impact all communities, and we strive to eliminate any predictors of student achievement or attainment disparities defined by first language, race, ability, socioeconomic status, or gender.
The Department of Access and Opportunity is dedicated to creating a learning environment where all students thrive. We strive to dismantle systemic barriers and ensure equitable access to high-quality education for every student, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, or other individual characteristics.
