Academic Areas
The Division of Schools and Leadership proudly supports the academic vision of the DeKalb County School District by guiding and empowering schools across the district. It is home to seven area teams, each led by an Area Superintendent and supported by Executive Administrators, Culture and Climate Coordinators, Lead Content Coordinators, as well as Special Education, English Learner, and Mental Health Coordinators. These teams are dedicated to upholding the mission and values of both the division and the district by ensuring high-quality instruction, safe learning environments, and the social-emotional well-being of every scholar.
