Cross Keys High students to exhibit artwork the Museum of Contemporary Art.

The artwork of 15 Cross Keys High School students, highlighting the immigrant experience, will be on exhibit for two weeks beginning Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at the Museum of Contemporary Art (see flyer below).

The pieces are the students’ Personal Cultural Narratives developed during the 2016-2017 school year regarding what it means to be undocumented in America. The show will start with a discussion of how art can be used to highlight the challenges and celebrate the perseverance of immigrants in Georgia. The show will be hosted by the Latin American Association.
