Chamblee Charter High Mentor Program’s Special Recognition

Jocelyn Leon and Eli Abamonte, students at Chamblee Charter High School, received special recognition at the Architecture, Construction, & Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program’s End of Year Banquet on May 8, 2017. Both students received recognition for outstanding accomplishments, along with a $50 gift card. Additionally, Abamonte received a $2000 scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture. DeKalb School of the Arts junior named finalist for Georgia's Poet Laureate’s Prize. Sophia Seufert, a junior at the DeKalb School of the Arts, was a finalist for Georgia's fourth annual Poet Laureate’s Prize, an award for an original poem written by a Georgia high school student. Chamblee Charter High Students Race Electric Vehicle

Chamblee Charter High students race their electric vehicle in regional competition. Students at Chamblee Charter High School raced their electric vehicle against peers from across the region at the Forsyth Electrathon Rally on April 29, 2017, at the Cumming Fairgrounds. Electrathon America is an organization where teams compete using electric vehicles in order to raise awareness of those vehicles. Season of Champions: DeKalb Teams Go After State Titles

Two soccer teams to compete for state titles, while one tennis team took home an historic state title win. Chamblee High School's Lady Bulldogs took home 1st ever 5A state tennis championship.
