Staff Directory

The Executive Director, Assistant Director, and Coordinators hold master’s degrees in nutrition, food service management, or education and are certified by the Georgia Department of Education.

Each school nutrition manager must complete 150 hours of training from a core curriculum consisting of personnel management, operations, nutrition and menu management, quantity food production, and marketing during their first five years.

An advanced thirty hour course must be completed every three years to maintain certification. School nutrition assistants are licensed through the School Nutrition Association’s certification program which requires a thirty hour orientation course during their first year and twelve hours of continuing education every three years.
