Redistricting public meeting updates in Stone Mountain & Clarkston high school clusters.
Information updated as of November 13, 2017 to include new meeting locations.
DeKalb County School District (DCSD) will conduct two additional public meetings as a part of an upcoming redistricting effort in the Stone Mountain and Clarkston clusters.
This Redistricting effort could potentially address additional capacity created by the newly rebuilt Rockbridge ES facility, as well as the overcrowding of elementary, middle, and high schools in the Stone Mountain and Clarkston clusters.
The two meetings will be held from 6:30PM to 8:30PM, as follows:
Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017 – Clarkston High School – 618 N. Indian Creek Drive, Clarkston, GA 30021
Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 – Rockbridge Elementary School – 445 Halwick Way, Stone Mountain, GA 30083
All members of the public are invited to attend these meetings and learn more about the redistricting, which could potentially impact the following schools:
Allgood Elementary School, Dunaire Elementary School, Hambrick Elementary School, Indian Creek Elementary School, Jolly Elementary School, Rockbridge Elementary School, Stone Mill Elementary School, Stone Mountain Elementary School, Freedom Middle School, Stone Mountain Middle School, Clarkston High School, Stone Mountain High School.
