Specially trained consultants, architectural, engineering and construction professionals will be evaluating each facility, looking at every building system (e.g., the condition of the windows, the roof, and the HVAC system.) The principal and plant engineer will receive a questionnaire to complete prior to the assessment. The questionnaire allows the people who are most familiar with the building to provide important information regarding the condition of the building.

After completing the questionnaire, the school staff will walk the building with the consultants to evaluate and document the condition of every building system. The school principal will invite the Local School Councils, parent/teacher association (PTA) or parent/teacher organization (PTO) president, another parent, a teacher, and their plant engineer to participate in the site visit.

The FCA report will be completed in March of 2016.
