Class 6A No. 1 Tucker Tigers take on Region 4-6A co-leaders Martin Luther King Jr. Lions on Friday at Adams Stadium for Homecoming at 7:30 pm.

Tucker (3-1, 1-0) is coming off a 42-7 region opening victory over Jonesboro last Friday night at Adams Stadium. Taurean Taylor had a pair of touchdowns while rushing for 100 yards in the win. The Tigers were tied 7-7 in the first quarter before scoring 35 consecutive points to end the half up 42-7.
The Lions (2-2, 1-0) are coming off a 29-22 victory over Mundy’s Mill last Friday night at Godfrey Stadium to tie Tucker and Stephenson atop the region standings. Four Lions scored rushing touchdowns in the win, including Demario Benton, Marchellious Lockett, Jaden Wilkins and Jacobi Hayes.
Stephenson (2-2, 1-0) will try to keep pace with the Tucker/M.L. King winner as they host Mundy’s Mill (0-4) in a Region 4-6A homecoming game set for Hallford Stadium on Friday at 8:00 pm.
The Jaguars are coming off a hard-fought 14-7 victory over preseason ranked Lovejoy (2-2) where the defense shut out the Wildcats in the second half. Darren Parker and Deondre Jackson had touchdown runs in the first half as the Jaguars built a 14-0 lead.

Westminster vs. Cedar Grove
The No. 1 ranked Cedar Grove Saints host Westminster in a key Region 5-3A game set for 8:00 pm at Godfrey Stadium on Friday.

The Saints (4-0, 1-0) scored 29 consecutive points last Friday against Lovett on the way to a 41-14 region opening win at Godfrey Stadium. Quarterback Xavier Dennis ran for two touchdowns and threw for another to lead the Saints rally from a 14-6 deficit.
Region 5-3A co-leader Westminster (1-3, 1-0) is coming off region opening 44-0 victory over the Redan Raiders last weekend.
Other Region 5-3A action this weekend includes McNair (2-2, 1-0) hosting Stone Mountain (1-3, 0-1) for homecoming at Godfrey Stadium (5:15 pm), Redan (1-3, 0-1) hosting Pace Academy (1-2, 1-0) and Towers (2-2, 1-0) traveling to Lovett (1-3, 0-1).
East Coweta vs. Arabia Mountain
Godfrey Stadium plays host to a big non-region battle on Saturday at 7:30 pm as Class 5A Arabia Mountain (3-1) hosts Class 7A East Coweta (3-1).
The Rams are coming off a bye following a tough 9-0 loss to Dacula. East Coweta is coming off a thrilling 39-35 win over North Cobb last weekend.
Josh Campbell had six rushing touchdowns through three games to lead the Rams and Bryson Williams has thrown for 7 and rushed for another to lead the offense.
Junior defensive lineman Demetric Barnes (3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks) and Thomas Rayton (4 tackles for loss, 3 sacks) lead the Rams’ on defense.
