The Class 5A No. 6 ranked Arabia Mountain Rams put their undefeated mark on the line against Region 2-7A East Coweta Indians in Newnan on Friday night.

The Rams earned their first ever ranking and 4-0 record with a 24-21 win over Dacula two weeks ago before their open date last weekend.

Senior quarterback Samad Noble triggers the Ram offense and has 450 yards passing (32-51) and four touchdowns to go with 264 yards rushing and four more touchdowns.

Senior running backs Brandon Snowball (363 yards rushing) and Carl White III (258 yards rushing) both have four touchdowns as they combine with Noble for 885 yards rushing for the Rams.

Michael Miller leads the receiving corps with 16 catches for 296 yards and two touchdowns while also picking up a pair of interceptions in the defensive backfield.

The defense is led by senior linebackers Terray Bryant (73 tackles, 3 TFL, 5 fumbles caused, 1 interception for a touchdown and 4 fumble recoveries) and Joshua Cook (55 tackles, 3 TFL).

East Coweta enters the game at 3-1 and coming off an 18-12 loss to North Cobb last week. Quarterback Chris Reid leads the Indians averaging 117 yards of offense per game rushing and passing. Senior outside linebacker Isaiah Gemmel leads the defense with 22 tackles and two for a loss.

Tucker vs. M.L. King
The Class 6A No. 8 ranked Tucker Tigers and DeKalb rivals Martin Luther King Jr. Lions meet in a Region 4-6A contest as the teams play for the first time since 2015 as the two tee off at 7:30 pm in Hallford Stadium on Friday.

Tucker (3-1, 1-0) is coming off a 58-0 region opening win over winless Jonesboro and leads the series with the Lions 3-1 winning 44-6 in 2015.

The Tigers are led by senior running back Chris Broadwater (380 yards rushing, 6 TDs) and junior Taurean Taylor (234 yards rushing, 4 TDs). Quarterback Xavier Shephard has struck for 469 yards and 4 TDs through the air with junior Josh Vann collecting 14 receptions for 285 yards and 3 TDs.

Defensive end Antonio Showers had 20 tackles going into last week’s game against Jonesboro including 2 sacks and 4 tackles for a loss. He returned an interception for a touchdown against Jonesboro.

The Lions are coming off a tough 33-13 road loss to Mundy’s Mill last weekend and are looking to get into the region win column on Friday.

Quarterback Brandon Dickerson has thrown for almost 500 yards (491) and 4 TDs to lead the Lions to a 2-2 record thus far. Jamal Patton has been his best target hauling in 13 receptions for 275 yards and the 4 TDs.

Junior linebacker Jequan George leads the defense with 26 tackles, 1 sack, 1 TFL and 1 interception through three games this season.

Cedar Grove at Westminster
The Class 3A No. 3 ranked Cedar Grove Saints travel to No. 7 Westminster for a rematch of their 2015 semifinal loss as the two play a key Region 5-AAA for both teams.

The Saints (3-1, 1-0) are coming off a 28-21 come-back win over Lovett last week behind running back Grant Walker’s 227 yards rushing performance and three touchdowns by quarterback Jelani Woods.

Senior defensive end DeAngelo Malone accumulated 30 tackles including 3 sacks and 9 tackles for a loss in the Saints first three games this season.

Westminster (2-2, 1-0) is led by senior running back Zay Malcome who has rushed for 569 and 7 TDs in four games this season. The Wildcats are coming off a 45-13 win over Redan last week in their region opener.

Inside the county this weekend, Adams Stadium plays host to a homecoming doubleheader on Friday as Druid Hills (2-2) hosts North Clayton (2-2) at 5:15 pm and Lakeside (3-1) hosts Meadowcreek (0-4) in the nightcap at 8:00 pm.

The Dunwoody Wildcats (2-1, 1-0) look to go 2-0 in Region 7-6A as they host Chattahoochee (2-2, 1-1) for homecoming at North DeKalb Stadium on Friday at 7:30 pm
