StephensonThe AJC/Georgia High School Football Daily Preseason Class 6A All-State Football Team today and three DeKalb County School District players were selected for this honor.

Stephenson had a pair of players named in defensive lineman Aaron Sterling and defensive back Carlito Gonzales to be one of five teams with two or more selected.

Sterling (6-2, 255), an Alabama commit, finished his junior season with 23.5 sacks and a total of 34 tackles for a loss. Gonzales had 55 tackles, 3 fumbles caused and 2 pass breakups playing in the defensive backfield for the Jaguars.

Tucker offensive lineman Dylan Wonnum will anchor the Tigers up front as part of a unit that opened running lanes for the Tiger running backs to amass 309 yards per game a year ago.

Lanier with three players named lead the way on the Class 6A All-State team with Houston County, Brunswick, Glynn Academy joining Stephenson with two selections each on the team.
