Lithonia and Clarkston girls’ open the preseason season on Saturday (Nov. 7) in a 5:30 pm tipoff at Clarkston as 21 DeKalb boys’ and girls’ basketball teams get their first tests against the opposition in the upcoming week.
One of seven new basketball coaches in DeKalb County is Cross Keys’ boys’ coach Ron Jackson as he debuts his squad on the road at Atlanta International School on Monday at 6:30 pm.
Four preseason double headers are set for Tuesday including Grayson (B) and Miller Grove (G) at Arabia Mountain starting at 4:30 pm (boys first).
Marist goes down the road to Dunwoody in a girls’/boys’ doubleheader set for 5:30 pm (girls first) and Lovejoy travels to Stephenson for a pair of games set for a 6:00 pm start (girls first).
Druid Hills goes on the road to South Atlanta for a 5:30/7:00 pm doubleheader (girls) first in the final double dip of the day.
Tucker hosts St. Pius X in a doubleheader beginning with the girls at 5:30 pm on Wednesday (Nov. 10) in another exciting matchup of teams based in DeKalb County.
